Quora Partner Program.
I’ve been on Quora and I found I actually prefer asking questions. However, Quora has always been about the answers, direct knowledge.
So guys, listen up when I clicked on ‘view invite’ in the Email:
“As a partner, you can earn money by asking questions that many people want answers to and by requesting qualified writers to answer questions. The more useful questions that get asked on Quora, the more high-quality answers that get written and the more helpful Quora becomes to people. With the Partner Program, we compensate users who make Quora better, and we’re excited to invite you to join. — Quora Team”
It’s been almost a year since Quora began the Partner Program, and they have taken the time to reflect on the success of the program to date as well as the lessons they have learned thus far.
Knowledge Sharing
Ultimately, the goal of the program is to contribute to Quora’s mission to grow and share the world’s knowledge, so they’re making changes that reward questions that more directly meet people’s real demand for knowledge.
Questions Will get a Boost
Starting recently, how questions are compensated will change significantly. Specifically:
This sounds like a decent revamp. As someone on Quora who has asked over 1,000 questions, this makes more sense to me. Viral content on Quora doesn’t usually correlate with actual quality. The algo needs to adjust to that.
What Quora Values
If you haven’t used Quora before here’s basically how it works in the Quora Partner Program:

It might look a bit like this:
So my idea is why not join Medium’s Partner Program and Quora’s Partner Program and do your best on both?
It’s all about diversifying your streams of income. So how much is a question worth? Here’s Quora data on it thus far.
If you could make a dollar a question, that’s not terribly ROI, is it?
I am actually quite dedicated to creating a bunch of tools and communities to help new writers excel on Medium. I’d appreciate support with answers that relate to that as we have crowd-sourced a lot of platform wisdom with some of the most active writers on Medium thus far.
